Admissions

The KEC Admissions Policy and the concomitant procedures are characteristic of a young, vigorous and rapidly expanding English school.

KEC English School is a private school largely funded by revenue from tuition fees. Some potential students, therefore, will be unable to enrol because of the (albeit modest) cost of tuition. Establishment of a scholarship fund will be considered as soon as financial circumstances permit.

The first point of reference for KEC personnel handling admissions is the applicant student’s current and/or previous school report(s). A judgement will be made as to the extent to which the report is authentic and a reliable basis for decisions.

Admissions are granted to all irrespective of sex, caste, creed or social status, if there is a vacancy in a particular class. Admission of a child to the school means complete acceptance of all the school rules in force and all amendments thereof.

  • Hard copies of the completed application form are submitted to the Office of Admissions.
  • The registration fee can be paid at a bank, into the KEC Account (see details in Guide).  The finance department will also accept cash payment for the registration fee only.  No other payment is required at this point. The Fees of INR 200/- is required at this stage.
  • All applications are to be submitted to the Office of Admissions located in the administration block in School or online to info@kecenglishschool.com
  • As soon as the completed application is received, the file will undergo a detailed review by the Office of Admissions.  All applications go to the Principal for final approval.  Applications will be acknowledged within the working week. Parents will be notified by E-mail, SMS or call, so should ensure that all contact information on the application is correct.
  • If an application has been unsuccessful, parents will be notified by email, SMS or call and are required to indicate their intent to remain on the waiting list for the next academic year.
  • The applicant is of appropriate age.
  • The applicant’s needs can, in the opinion of the Principal, be managed within the School’s provision.
  • The present School (if applicable) reports satisfactory attitudes and conduct on the part of the child and parent(s).
  • Fees (if applicable) at the present school have been paid up in full.
  • Prospective parents meet with the Principal.
  • Parents/Guardians  have agreed to the School’s Parent Obligation, including a Home/School obligations outlining mutual support, responsibilities and support for the School and its policies and decisions

After admission is granted, the Parents / Guardians require to deposit the amount of fee within five days of admission declaration, and to equip their wards with all study materials and uniforms available in the school book store and dress counter only to avoid any inconvenience, however parents are not bounded to purchase them on their own will from other sources.
